Hey I was talking to wrathus heard you guys working on kalecgos, heres a strat I made for it. Neph used it to kill so if they could do it im sure you guys can
Abilities - Kalecgos
* Sunwell Radiance - Increases Kalecgos' chance to hit by 5% and decreases his target's chance to dodge by 20%. (Seemingly) Permanent buff, cannot be dispelled. * Arcane Buffet - 500ish Arcane damage to everyone in the raid + a 40-second debuff that increases Arcane damage taken by 500. Cast every 8-9 seconds. * Wild Magic - Cast every 6-12 seconds on a random target. Gives a buff that lasts 20 seconds. Effects can be: o Healing done by spells and effects increased by 100%. o Casting time increased by 100%. o Chance to hit with melee and ranged attacks reduced by 50%. o Damage done by critical hits increased by 100%. o Increases threat generated by 100%. o Spell and ability costs reduced by 50%. * Spectral Blast - Cast on a random second target every 23-28 seconds. 5700-6300 physical damage (not on the target) in a 10-yard radius and teleports the target to the Spectral Realm. Also creates a portal to the Spectral Realm for others to use. The portal remains active for ~17-18 seconds. o Spectral Realm - Inside the Spectral Realm you fight Sathrovarr the Corrupter for 60 seconds. Once 60 seconds expire you're teleported back up to Kalecgos. o Spectral Exhaustion - Once out of the Spectral Realm, you cannot enter it for another 60 seconds. * Frost Breath - 2500-3500 frost damage in a frontal cone and a -50% movement speed debuff. * Tail Lash - 2000-2500 physical damage + 2 second stun if you get near his tail. * Enrage - When Sathrovarr the Corruptor reaches 10%, he enrages Kalecgos. Every 5 seconds the enrage stacks and Kalecgos does more damage. If Kalecgos reaches 10% before the demon, something bad happens I think.
Abilities - Sathrovarr the Corruptor (Spectral Realm)
* Corrupting Strike - 9500-10500 physical damage on the tank + 3000 damage over 3 seconds. Also stuns for 2 seconds which means the tank can't block, dodge, or parry Sathrovarr's next attacks. * Shadow Bolt Volley - Targets a random target and hits up to 3 people in a cone from that target for 4000-5000 shadow damage. * Curse of Boundless Agony - Cast on a target every x seconds. Deals 100 shadow damage per second and doubles in damage every 5 seconds. So it does 100/s, 200/s, 400/s, etc.
Positioning
There are two different positions for this fight. The first is denoted by the light blue in the diagram below. The 4 different portal groups will be spread out in the 4 different quadrants. Group 1 in the far (from the entrance) left, Group 2 in the far right, Group 3 in the close right, and Group 4 in the close left. You and the rest of your portal group will spread out in your given quadrant to minimize splash damage from portals. After you've been ported and have come back up to the Dragon Realm, you will then move to the second set of positions. While you have the debuff that prevents you from being ported, you will clump up in the Clump Up Area. Once your debuff has anywhere between 5-10 seconds left - you should begin moving to the Spread Out Area. If at any time after the first 4 portals have spawned you find yourself with the debuff, you should be clumped up. If you do not have the debuff, you should be in the spread out area. Note: you will not have the debuff if you have been battle rezzed.

Execution
The biggest part of this fight is the cycles between the normal world and the Spectral Realm. The Spectral Realm and Spectral Exhaustion debuffs in addition to the Spectral Blast portal timers requires you to have 4 different groups rotating. Everyone in the raid needs to have a macro that announces to raid and maybe even whispers your other 5-6 groupmates, and if you get Spectral Blast cast on you need to hit that macro to let your group know it's their turn. After the first round of teleports, the rotation will be set and it will be obvious who is next, because it will be the group without the debuff that prevents you from being ported. Each rotation will consist of 5 portals with the 5th being skipped:
Tanks: Tank 1 will begin tanking Kalecgos - Tank 2 should take the first portal, and Tank 3 should take the second portal. Tank 1 should attempt to get into the 4th portal, but if this is not possible, take the 5th.
After that it's rinse and repeat. You'll know it's your turn because your Spectral Realm debuff will have just worn off when your portal appears.
This is a very healing-intensive fight. People will be taking 10ish Arcane Buffets before getting their portal, which means they'll be taking upwards of 5,000 damage ticks before it's their turn.
Wild Magic doesn't seem very helpful, just be careful if you get the +100% threat or +100% crit damage one and don't pull agro. Also, please pay attention to your threat if Tank 1 should get the reduced chance to hit version of this "buff." His aggro will obviously be quite a bit lower than normal
As for Curse of Boundless Agony, since this is a DPS race and we don't want mages/druids spamming decurse, they need to try not to decurse people immediately. Let the curse sit for 10ish seconds before removing it. I'm not sure how often he casts it, but eventually there will be too many Curses bouncing around and it will overwhelm us.
The ending of this fight needs to happen in a very particular order: Get the Dragon and Demon to 11% Bring the Demon below 10% before the Dragon reaches 10% DPS the Demon until he banishes himself at 1% Kill the dragon (If the dragon reaches 1% before the demon does, the fight resets and you get to do it all over again)
What to expect as a single player: Move into your initial position with your portal group. Wait to see where the portal spawns. If it spawns in your group, and you receive a macro from your portal group, click the portal to move to the demon realm. If the portal spawns on you, click your macro to inform your portal group to follow you. If you're in the last group to get ported, use your arcane pot as you'll likely have 11-13 stacks of the debuff that increases your arcane damage taken.
Once in the demon realm, group up behind the demon. DPS/Heal until your 1 minute debuff expires and you will be ported automatically back up to the Dragon Realm. Move to the Stack Up Area and heal/dps until you have 5-10 seconds left on your debuff. When this occurs, move to the Spread Out Area and await your time to be ported or to enter a portal.
(If the dragon reaches 1% before the demon does, the fight resets and you get to do it all over again)
This is incorrect. If you banish the dragon before the demon, you simply won't receive any new portals to the spectral realm. As long as you have enough people fighting the demon to eventually get him to 1%, it doesn't matter witch one reaches 1% first.
As for the enrage, it's whenever either the demon or dragon reaches 10%. Nothing especially bad happens if you get the dragon below 10% before the demon.
Also, this fight really isn't a dps race. If you try to turn it into one, you're likely to have the dragon significantly lower than the demon. DPS is only an issue if you're doing the fight with two tanks, and have significant time where human Kalec is tanking the demon. The "berserk" is him dying, but with good tank rotations he doesn't take a ton of damage. It's an execution fight, not a dps race. The dps race comes after Kalec.

The dps race is more for healer mana, i made this strat about a month after sunwell went live for my old guild, we didnt give healers any shadowpriests but after raiding with yall last night i see yall do, so yes I would agree you dont have to treat it like a race aslong as healers can sustain their mana pool control is better.
And I didnt know the no portal thing, I did this fight such a long time ago I dont think people knew bout that then, but depending on what % the demon is when dragon gets banished i dont know how doable that would be.
Anywho you guys did really well last night im sure you can get him, lemme know if you need help with any other bosses to muru when you guys get there. GL

Well, my statements were assuming the rest of your strat, namely the "Get the dragon and demon to 11%" part for this. Depending on how portals went until this point, it shouldn't matter which dies first. People should be in the spectral realm anyway. I come in peace! For serial!
Just a tip something that we found out in Sanguine, this fight has been buggy for just about ever in terms of who it targets for portals. We tried both no totems and no pets and found no real difference if you had totems down in the dragon area. However he does seem to want to target pets to try to put a portal on. That will cause late portals making the fights REALLY hard, so what our hunters do is have no pet until they get into the demon phase I dont know if after that they dismiss the pet again and what not I cant remember get to busy spamming buttons after that point.
